Trail of Ten Falls - Silver Falls State Park



Hike the Canyon and Rim Trail loop. We will start at the new "North Canyon District" parking area near North Falls and take a lunch break at the South Falls Lodge. This parking area adds an easy mile and a half to the normal 7.4 mile loop total. A State Park day pass or season pass required for parking. Expect wet trails and mist from the water falls. Limited to ten participants. Sign up by Tues. the 19th at noon.

Difficulty:  Medium, 

Pace:  Moderate to Slow

Hiking Distance: 8.8 miles

Elevation Gain: 1190 feet.

Driving Distance: 50 miles RT.

MÉDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous

To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
