Miller Woods Outer Loop

We will meet in Salem, carpool to the Miller Wood parking lot where our hike begins by crossing a meadow under the canopy of ancient Oaks then enter a Douglas Fir forest, crossing a bridge over Berry Creek reaching a summit before winding our way back past Otter Pond and back to the car (s). Bring a lunch, water and a change of shoes as the trail can be muddy. If all agree we can stop at the Oregon Hotel on our return for a snack or/and a beverage.
