Beazell Memorial Forest--Postponed!

Beazell Memorial Forest, near Philomath Oregon, is a managed forest on the site of the old Plunkett farm. It climbs past a creek through bigleaf maples up into meadows and large firs, then back down an old road way. Leader scouted this earlier in the spring and is happy to report the trail is clear. Bring a snack or first lunch, plenty of water and reasonable shoes.

Difficulty: Easy

Driving distance 68 miles RT

Hiking distance 5 ish miles RT.

Elevation gain 885 feet.
