Cape Perpetua-Amanda's trail

About this event

Starting at Yachats, we will take the north trailhead via Amanda's trail to the Cape Perpetua ocean lookout. The Amanda trail winds along single track dirt paths through old-growth spruce and Douglas fir forest. Hikers pass a memorial grotto dedicated to Amanda, a blind Coos woman, and will cross a suspension bridge before making a steep climb to sweeping ocean view lookouts.
