About this event

This is a more challenging trail with quite a bit of elevation gain. Pre-registration is required.
There are nice views at the top to reward you! Hoping that the wildflowers will still be blooming as well, though we will be at the tail end of wildflower season. It can be hot and sunny, or cold and windy. Much of the trail is exposed. Bring lots of water and be prepared for all weather.
Group size will be limited by the number of drivers. Let me know if you can drive. Northwest Forest Pass required ($5 for day pass).

Pace: Moderate

Hiking Distance: 6 miles RT

Elevation Gain: 2824 feet

Driving Distance: 200 miles RT

Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous

To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
