Perimeter Trail (Silver Falls)
About this event
Hooray! The North Falls parking area is open at last which means we can finally access the Perimeter trailhead. This hike does not include any waterfalls, but its lush beauty combined with lots of summer shade and no crowds has made it popular with many Chemeketans. Please register by June 26 via email or phone (no texts) and indicate if you'd prefer carpooling from south Keizer, the state motor pool, or meeting at the trailhead. If you register by email and are not in the member directory, include a phone number. Limit: 12.

Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
