Sitka Sedge

About this event

Sitka Sedge is a mix of open marsh, woodland and ocean beach.  Depending on wind conditions, we can walk on the beach part of the way or stick to the woods.  To round out the day, we can drive 1.4 miles to the Clay Myers Natural Area and walk the loop trail there. The tide will be receding when we start out on the trail, so there will be no problems walking on the beach. Please join me in bringing binoculars along on the hike if you would like to do a little birding at Sitka Sedge.

Please email or text the leader to sign up and learn the meeting time and place.
