Buck Mt, Silver Falls State Park
About this event
We will hike the Buck Mt. Trail to the junction with the Perimeter and Catamount trails, where we can have a snack or lunch before returning the same way. This is a beautiful hike in the backcountry of Silver Falls State Park. Don't join me if you don't like hiking among very large trees and a forest lush with ferns! The trail can be pretty muddy, so come prepared. An optional stop for a snack at the cafe at Smith Village after the hike will be possible if people are interested. Please contact the leader by 12:00 noon the day prior to get further details, meeting time and place.
