About this event
Calling all flower lovers: this hike will begin at Tryon Creek to enjoy the lovely trilliums and whatever other wildflowers there might be. We'll then take a quick detour over to the Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden to walk under and around the fabulous rhododenrons and gardens surrounding the lake.

Pace: Moderate
Hiking Distance: 4 plus miles RT
Elevation Gain: 530 feet
Driving Distance: 80 miles RT

EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
