Intro to Outdoor Rock Climbing at Smith Rock
About this event
Spend the weekend at beautiful smith rock state park rock climbing.
This weekend will consist of a group of leaders and helpers setting up top-rope climbing at various locations within the park. this will be easy climbing ranging in difficulty from 5.5 - 5.9.
The group usually camps out at skull hollow campground for the weekend. food, water, and camping fees and parking fees will be the climbers responsibility.
You will need to have your own climbing harness, climbing shoes, climbing helmet, belay device, locking and non-locking carabiners and a personal protection device.
YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE CHEMEKETANS CLIMBING CLUB AND COMPLETED CLIMB SCHOOL TO ATTEND.

Please email me if you are interested. I will be building the team and let you know if you're on the climb as we get closer to date. Please include a brief summary of your climbing experience. If you are new to the club please include the year you completed climb school and who your pod leader was.
