This 3.6 mile loop takes you to the top of the Butte with views of Mts. Hood, Adams, Helens and Jefferson on a clear day (let's hope for one). It's 1.5 to 2 hours through open meadows and covered forests. It will most likely be muddy so dress for cold and damp weather; poles and rain gear are recommended. Bring an extra pair of shoes to change into and a plastic bag to store your dirty shoes on the way home.
McMenamins Highland Pub is 2 miles away and may be a nice place to warm up after the hike. The hike will start at 10:00. More details when you sign up.
