Buck Mountain-Out and Back
About this event
We will hike the beautifully forested Buck Mt. Trail about 3-1/2 miles to the junction with the Catamount and Perimeter Trails, before returning the same way. There are no waterfalls, but we won't have to worry about sliding off into the creek if conditions are icy! We may share the trail with occasional horses and/or bikes. Expect muddy conditions. Please contact the leader by noon the day prior for meeting times, etc.

Hiking Trip Ratings:
EASY: Maximum of 5 miles round trip, elevation gain less than 1000 feet
MEDIUM: 6-10 miles round trip, elevation gain 1000-2000 feet
HARD: Long, difficult, and strenuous
To reimburse drivers for vehicle operation costs, the suggested donation by passengers is $0.10 per mile per person to the driver.
