About this event


This will be an evening learning about building sport climbing anchors and the basics of sport climbing itself.

The classroom session will be from 5:30pm until 9pm.  We will start with a lecture and then break into groups to build anchors.

Participants should comfortable performing a top rope belay. (Erin’s Intro to Smith Rock Climbing trip is a great way to get a refresher)

This class is a prerequisite for Introduction to Anchor Building and Lead Climbing field session on May 10th and 11th. 

Contact the climb leader for registration and any questions.

Attendees will need to bring a comfortable chair to sit in.

Only people registered for the Introduction to Anchor Building and Lead Climbing field session can attend this event.

MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE CHEMEKETANS CLIMBING CLUB TO ATTEND
