Come climb Oregon's "Lightning Rod of the Cascades" on a nice low key weekday.  Great climb for new climbers who have been through climb school.  There is a fun rock pitch that we will ascend via a fixed line to the summit and then rappel back down.

We are planning on driving up the morning of the climb leaving at 5:30am from Salem and camping at Diamond Lake Campground nearby Thur even.  On Friday, we will most likely climb Mt Yoran near Oakridge on the way home as a private climb for anyone interested.  It's possible Yoran may not go as it depends on how Mike's foot feels.  Yoran is approx 8 miles and 1600' gain/loss with a 3rd class scramble at the end.  

We expect it to be quite buggy based on reports.  Bug spray and a head net is HIGHLY recommended.
