Our timing was perfect as the weekend rains had cleaned the air and frosted the mountains with a fresh dressing of snow. The huckleberry leaves were beginning to turn and the air was crisp and clean. This was a new hike to Karen Craven and Ann Wulff, which always makes it more fun.
Also delighted with our friendships and claiming the day were: Ann Adamcik, Deanna Davis, Nanci Chambers, Marcia Kenagy, Lynette Torgeson and Mary Coleman, leader.
