The leader, Georgienne Young was joined by eight hikers including three guests and five other members for this hike. We enjoyed a lovely and cool day for our hike around Morgan Lake and Moffitti Marsh with lunch at the summit viewing platform. Along the way we saw Canada Geese and fluffy gosling, Ruddy Ducks, Pied- Billed Grebes, Acorn Woodpeckers, a Meadowlark and more plus many lovely wildflowers. A little thunder worried us but we were lucky to just get a few drops of rain and some nice sunshine. It was a great group and we all had a good time together. The members included Pat Fuhrman, Matt Rieke, Brigitte Johnson, Ann Hanus, Emily Wieczorek and myself with guests Kelly Domeuer, Jane Harter and Francys Veras.
