The best weather so far this year, and we were off for a hilly spring walk in the Fairmount Neighborhood. Besides many lovely homes and gardens, we passed the covered 10,000,000 gallon Fairmount Reservoir, which was constructed in 1935-36. It's the largest of the city reservoirs and draws water from 18 miles away in the North Santiam River. Leader Elizabeth Seibert was accompanied by members Ken Betterton, RuthAnn Fry, and guest Shawn Bills.
