Trail climbs steadily through old-growth forest, along the side of the glacial cirque, and on up to a ridge. Along the ridge we typically find a wonderful patch of gentians. A final steep section and some scrambling along the rocks at the top brings a beautiful view. Vaccinated and boosted hikers only, please.
