Trail Maintenance

The Chemeketans periodically organize trail maintenance outings to help maintain trails. Trail maintenance includes trimming of vegetation, tread work on trails and repair/replacement of bridges etc. No other Chemeketan hikes are scheduled on trail maintenance days. You are encouraged to participate.

A free USFS Northwest Trail Pass will be issued to all those who participate in two (2) full days of trail maintenance work. Contact co-chair Dave Carter (503-393-3649) or co-chair Lee Slattum (503-364-9325) if you have suggestions regarding trail maintenance or a trail you would like to be included for maintenance.

Come join fellow Chemeketans for a fun day and an opportunity to support the upkeep of the trails we all use and enjoy.
