Annual Outing
Each year during the first two weeks of August the Chemeketans have an Annual Outing in an outdoor setting such as a state park or national forest. For more information contact Dave Carter.
The 2008 Outing will be held at the Wallowa Mountains of northeast Oregon from Saturday, August 16th. The campsite will be located on the Wolfe Ranch near Lostine, Oregon . The Outing site will also be available to us on Friday, August 1st for those that would like to arrive early.

Recent Outing History:
The 2007 Outing was held at the Olympic National Park from Saturday, July 28th through Saturday, August 11th. The Outing campsite was at the Clallam County Fairgrounds at Port Angeles, Washington.
The 2006 Outing was held at the Broken Arrow Campground at Diamond Lake, Oregon from Saturday, July 29th, to Saturday, August 12th.
The 2005 Outing was held in the Maroon-Bells Wilderness, Colorado at the Bogan Flats Group Camp Saturday, July 30 through Saturday, August 13.
The 2004 Outing was held July 31st through August 14th at the North Cascades National Park at the Lower Goodell Group Camp. The North Cascades are in northern Washington easterly from Sedro-Woolley, Washington.
The 2003 Outing was held Aug. 2-16 near Lassen Peak, California at Hat Creek Campground with hiking in Lassen Volcanic National Park.
The 2002 Outing was held at the Chemeketan Group Camp site in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho about 27 miles south of Stanley, Idaho.
The 2001 Outing was July 29 to August 12 at the North Fork Group Camp sites on the North Fork of the Cispus River near Randle, Washington.
The 2000 Outing was July 29-August 12 in the Wind River Range in Wyoming at North Fork Lake near Pinedale, WY.
The 1999 Outing was July 31-August 14 at Excelsior Park in northern Washington near Mt. Baker.
